Country Music Hall of Fame receives extensive Bob Kingsley archive

An archive spanning thousands of interviews conducted by late radio personality Bob Kingsley heads to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for preservation.  Kingsley, known for syndicated programs American Country Countdown  and Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40, died in October 2019 from cancer complications. He was 80.  The Hall receives an estimated 3,200 Kingsley interviews with country singers and industry insiders, including conversations with almost 50 Country Music Hall of Fame artists, a news release said.  The archive donated by widow and KCCS president Nan Kingsley    includes roughly 700 episodes of Bob Kinglsey s Country Top 40 Countdown. The Hall preserves these audio archives for future museum and third-party use, according to the release.
