Voyageur Aviation Corp. and General Dynamics Mission Systems – Canada have been awarded the in-service support contract for the Manned Airborne Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance program.
Voyageur, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc. of Halifax, is based at Jack Garland Airport in North Bay.

The initial in-service support contract is for approximately eight years but could be extended to more than 20 years.
Voyageur and General Dynamics will support the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance needs of the Canadian Armed Forces, while servicing its newly acquired fleet of three Beechcraft King Air 350ERs and associated mission systems.

( Voyageur ), has been awarded a 3-year contract to upgrade and modify Transport Canada s National Aerial Surveillance Program (NASP) fleet of three Dash 8-100 and one Dash 7 aircraft with new surveillance equipment.
