KU to upload students test answer sheets on portal from next year for transparency

KARACHI: The University of Karachi on Sunday announced that it would upload the answer scripts of candidates as well as answers-key on the web portal from next year to make the marking of tests more transparent.
The announcement was made by KU s Vice-Chancellor Professor Khalid Mahmood Iraqi.
The University also conducted an entry test for the evening programme of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Physics on Sunday. According to an official statement released by the varsity in this regard, as many as 846 candidates appeared in the entry test.

KMDC is the only medical college in Karachi affiliated with the KU.
The university officials couldn’t manage to take the annual exams since 2019.
The students previously approached the SHC after which the KU agreed to conduct the annual examinations in three batches.

KU issues BCom form submission schedule

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (UoK) has issued a schedule for the submission of examination forms and fees for BCom (Regular) Part-I or II, or both parts for Annual Examination 2020, a statement said Tuesday.
KU Controller of Examinations Dr Syed Zafar Hussain, in the statement, said that the varsity is now providing an online payment facility for submitting fees throughout the country.
The candidates appearing for BCom Part-I or II would pay Rs6,725 as a fee, while candidates of BCom both parts would submit a fee of Rs11,850, he said.
