Coronavirus: KU holds special entry test

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (UoK) on Friday held a special entry test for students who were unable to appear in the entry test of the morning bachelor’s programme held on December 13, 2020.
The entry test started at 11:00 am at the Directorate of Admissions, while candidates were given 100 minutes to solve their question papers, a statement issued by the university said.
Six candidates were unable to appear in the entry test scheduled on December 13, 2020, as they had tested positive for coronavirus or were having symptoms.
The candidates had submitted their applications on the official web portal and informed the varsity’s admission committee that they were unable to appear in the entry test held earlier.

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (UoK) is expected to announce the result of the entry test for its bachelor s programme on December 17, 2020, a statement issued Tuesday said.
The entry test for the academic year 2021 was held on December 13, 2020, while the results were expected to be announced a day later Dec 14.
KU issues BCom form submission schedule

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (UoK) has issued a schedule for the submission of examination forms and fees for BCom (Regular) Part-I or II, or both parts for Annual Examination 2020, a statement said Tuesday.
KU Controller of Examinations Dr Syed Zafar Hussain, in the statement, said that the varsity is now providing an online payment facility for submitting fees throughout the country.
The candidates appearing for BCom Part-I or II would pay Rs6,725 as a fee, while candidates of BCom both parts would submit a fee of Rs11,850, he said.
