Senior school administrators and public health officials believe schools in Grey-Bruce are prepared for the safe return of students, but they’ve been told by the province to stay away and online until at least Jan. 25.
The provincial government announced Thursday elementary school students in southern Ontario will continue to learn remotely through online teacher-led classes in an effort to minimize the transmission of the COVID-19 virus which is still surging in Ontario despite lockdown measures in place since Dec. 26.
