New Delhi, Feb 3 : The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Academy in Uttarakhand s Mussoorie has been awarded for best national gazetted officers training centre for 2016-17 by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The ITBP in a statement said that the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) carried out inspections of various police training institutes of the nation for four consecutive years starting from 2016 to 2020.

VIJAYAWADA: Ruling YSR Congress has said the poll app of the State Election Commission, eWatch, is not trustworthy as it is a privately developed app.
YSRC MLA and the party’s official spokesperson, Ambati Rambabu, said the ruling party in the state has no trust in the app launched by SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for monitoring the panchayat elections. He alleged that the app was developed in the Telugu Desam office.
27 bills passed earlier to be presented in Lok Sabha Tuesday IANS
New Delhi: On the second day of the Budget Session of Parliament, 27 Bills passed during the fourth session of seventeenth Lok Sabha will be tabled in the Lower House Tuesday along with various Standing Committee reports that include steps taken by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs during COVID-19 pandemic.
Soon after the House will assemble at 4 pm, Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh will table these 27 Bills that were assented to by President Ram Nath Kovind after these were passed in the previous session of Parliament.
Congress leader of the House Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and BJP MP Satya Pal Singh will later present the reports of the Public Accounts Committee that includes 21st report on the ‘Implementation of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006’; 22nd report on the action taken by the government on the recommendations of the committee contained in their 110th report (16 Lok Sabha)
