Kolkata (West Bengal)/New Delhi [India], December 18 (ANI/NewsVoir): Union Minister Nitin Gadkari formally launched Prabha Khaitan Foundation s website (pkfoundation.org) in a virtual function attended by which guests across India and abroad. Prabha Khaitan Foundation (PKF), a Kolkata-based registered public charitable trust, was set up by Late Dr Prabha Khaitan - a litterateur, entrepreneur and social worker - who worked relentlessly for the emancipation of women.

Delhi: Enhanced GPS-technology will be introduced in Indian highways within the next two years to make vehicular transport toll-free, said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday. With the idea of making vehicular transport easier all across the country, the Union Road Transport and Highway Minister also revealed that the system will be such that the toll amount will be deducted directly from the bank account based on the movement of vehicles.

Cautioning against profiteering by steel makers, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said he has sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi s attention towards 55 per cent hike in steel prices by players during the past six months, making projects unviable.
The road transport, highways and MSME minister also said if the players failed to curb the practice, the government will have to change policies and encourage alternative technologies in projects.
