Dehradun: Following the remarks made by Ramdev regarding allopathy doctors, the
Indian Medical Association (
IMA)-Uttarakhand division has demanded strict action against the Yoga Guru.
IMA state unit, President Dr Ajay Khanna said that a letter has been sent to the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary on Monday evening in this regard. In the letter, it is written that there is a lot of resentment among the IMA doctors against the statement of
Baba Ramdev. The
Union Health Minister has also sent a notice to Ramdev on the same stating that the statement is considered incorrect , Dr Khanna told ANI.
NEW DELHI: Focusing on Covid-19 related activities and continuing to provide essential services are important not only to maintain people s trust in the health system but also to minimise any increase in morbidity and mortality from other health conditions, Union health minister Harsh Vardhan said on Tuesday.
He made these remarks during a high-level virtual panel discussion on Continuity on Health Services during Covid-19 Crisis , according to a health ministry statement.
He appreciated Defeat-NCD Partnership at United Nations Institute for Training and Research for organising a call for action session for countries on Uninterrupted Health Services for NCDs during the Covid-19 Crisis , the statement said.

Jaipur, May 25 : The ruling Congress and the opposition BJP in Rajasthan got engaged in a war of words on Tuesday over Covid vaccines.
While Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accused the Central government of creating vaccine crisis in the nation, saying a possible third wave of the pandemic can create havoc for children if vaccines are not arranged on time, the state BJP accused the Rajasthan government of hiding its failures by putting all blames on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Amid the rising number of black and white fungus cases, a person has now been diagnosed with a yellow fungus infection.
In NCR, it has been reported first in Ghaziabad.
The patient is currently being treated at ENT surgeon Dr Brij Pal Tyagi s hospital.
The symptoms of yellow fungus are said to be lethargy, weight loss, low appetite, or no appetite at all. Subsequently, more severe symptoms of yellow fungus can also be the leakage of pus. It also reportedly affects the healing process of wounds and slows it down. It also results in sunken eyes and organ failure and eventually leads to necrosis.
