New Delhi [India], May 24 (ANI): Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday that the way yoga guru Ramdev withdrew his statements against allopathicmedicine and halted the controversy over the issue is laudable and shows his maturity.

Amid an unprecedented medical oxygen shortage in India, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan after the approval for PSA oxygen generation plants in eight districts of Odisha through PM Cares Fund. Pradhan also informed that the oxygen plants will be set up by the DRDO. The eight districts include Balasore, Bhadrak, Bolangir, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Nayagarh, and Sonepur.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], May 24 (ANI): Following the controversy of Ramdev s remarks about allopathic medicine, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Uttarakhand division is likely to file a defamation case against the Yoga Guru. IMA-Uttarakhand division is most likely to file defamation case against Baba Ramdev in connection with a viral video on his remarks regarding the use of allopathic medicines in the treatment of COVID-19 , informed IMAUttarakhand President Dr Ajay Khanna to ANI.
He said that a notice has been sent to Ramdev in this regard earlier.
