Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority for it on April 20.
The Mumbai Port Trust had told the government that there was no reclamation required and that it was an extension of earlier projects wherein two
docks were filled up. Earlier, concerns were expressed on the effect on flamingos.
The Mumbai Port Trust has already completed two berths and approach trestle, capital dredging for berth pocket, filling of Princess and Victoria dock, rail container depot, approach channel and turning circle dredging, and birth pocket. Odisha govt, Paradip Port to sign MoU for Mahanadi riverine port

Bhubaneswar, Dec 20 : The Odisha government would soon sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Paradip Port Trust (PPT) for development of a riverine port on Mahanadi river at an estimated cost of Rs 4,062 crore in Kendrapada district, said an official on Sunday.
A high-level team of the state government led by chief secretary Asit Tripathy visited the proposed Mahanadi Riverine Port site on Sunday.
5T secretary V. K. Pandian and Commerce and Transport special secretary Manoj Mishra and PPT chairman Rinkesh Roy were part of the team.
