CISCE Postpones Class 10 ICSE, ISC 12 Exam 2021 The ICSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 were slated to take place on May 4.   |  17 April 2021 5:29 AM GMT NEW DELHI: As India s Coronavirus pandemic story has changed dramatically in the last few weeks, the ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) examinations have been deferred for time being on Friday. The ICSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 were slated to take place on May 4. The CISCE informed that the new dates shall be announced later after monitoring the Covid situation. In its official notice, the chief executive and secretary of the CISCE board Gerry Arathoon stated that class ICSE 12 exams shall be slated be held at a later date and class 10 students can choose to not appear in the exam at all when the offline exam takes place later. They will be given an option to either sit for an exam along with the ISC exam timetable or choose to be reviewed by an internal process.

0 0 1 minute read CHANDIGARH: Seeing the increase in Kovid-19 cases, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has demanded the postponement of the tenth and twelfth board examinations to remove uncertainty between students and their parents. The Chief Minister has written a letter to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank pointing to the current situation, saying, “It will only be appropriate that it is decided to postpone the examinations of class X and XII.” He said, this will also allow the central government and states to make better plans for conducting examinations when the situation becomes normal. Seeking the minister’s early intervention, the Chief Minister said that it was difficult to accurately predict when the increase in Kovid cases would be arrested and for how long we would see a continuous declining trend.
