CBSE board exam 2021: Amid strong specualtions doing round that Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank may announce the much-awaited dates or schedule for class 10th and 12th board examinations 2021 today, experts have opined that the CBSE board may not release the schedule of the board examinations, at least before January neat year.
A retired CBSE official asserted that the board can defer the announcement of dates until schools are reopened.
It is to be noted that schools and colleges across the country have been shut since March when the Centre announced a countrywide classroom shutdown as part of measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. Amid COVID-19, a large number of students are worried about the upcoming CBSE Board exams. Clarifying all queries of students with regard to CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday said that no board exams will be conducted till after February 2021.
The decision was taken in view of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak, and the exams have been postponed till when the condition is ideal for holding the CBSE Board exams.
He added that more discussions in the future will be needed to fix the CBSE Board Exam 2021 dates.

NEW DELHI: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today conducted a webinar to interact with teachers across the country. During the interaction, the education minister said that there would be no practical examinations in January and February. He said that board exams will not be conducted till February next year and the decision on examination schedule will be taken later.

Thus to address all queries of students with regard to CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today will hold a live webinar to interact with teachers from across the country.
Earlier, on December 10, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal fielded the questions of the students at a live interactive session and assured them that they will return to school soon as the COVID-19 situation in the country is improving. Presently, 17 states have decided to reopen schools, he informed.
