CBSE 10th board exam cancelled, 12th exam postponed
The students of class 10th will be promoted on basis of internal assessment and the exams for Class 12th will be held later.

New Delhi: Board Exams for Class 10th have been cancelled and 12th exams have been postponed, said the Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday after a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Results of Class 10th will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the Board. Class 12th exams will be held later, the situation will be reviewed on 1st June by the Board,” it added.

Punjab Chief Minister has written to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank , with an emphasis on the prevailing pandemic situation and stressing that “it would only be appropriate that a decision is taken forthwith to postpone class 10 and 12 board examinations.”

Punjab: Amarinder Singh seeks postponement of CBSE board exams
In a letter to education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Amarinder Singh said that it would only be appropriate that a decision is taken forthwith to postpone class 10 and 12 board examinations.

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has sought postponement of the upcoming CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 amid the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.
