NEW DELHI: Days after the Centre made a big decision on JEE-Main 2021 exam schedule, the Ministry of Education is likely to make a major announcement on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams on Tuesday (December 22, 2020).
The Education Ministry was earlier scheduled to make the announcement on December 17 but it was postponed to December 22, considering the overwhelming response. The CBSE is likely to announce the schedule for classes 10 and 12 on Tuesday.
CBSE Board exams not to be held in Feb in view of COVID-19: Pokhriyal
New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) The Union Government on Tuesday decided not to conduct the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board examinations in February next year, in view of the global Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
This information was given by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in a tweet.
The Union Minister said he has received a lot of requests from various students and teachers to postpone the CBSE Board exams for Classes 10 and 12. Keeping the #COVID19 pandemic in mind & after various consultations, we have decided that #board exams will not be held in February, he tweeted.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the centenary celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on Tuesday via video conferencing.
“At 11 AM tomorrow, 22nd December, will be speaking at the centenary celebrations of the Aligarh Muslim University,” PM Modi wrote on Twitter.

Prime Minister Modi will also release a postal stamp during the event, according to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Chancellor of the University Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin and Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will also be present on the occasion.
