ROSELLE – Union County announced it will hold a mobile clinic to vaccinate educators and school personnel from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Warinanco Park.
Any educator or school staffer wishing to receive a vaccination must pre-register at www.ucnjvaccine.org. There will be no walk-ins.
Teachers, school staffers and administration officials who work in Union County are eligible but must bring proper employment identification. The county will be offering the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccination at the clinic.
A Union County spokesperson couldn’t confirm how many vaccines were set to be administered. Educators and school personnel deserve the protection they need to conduct their essential work, and the vaccination will protect them and all those they come in to contact with during the performance of their duties, Union County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alexander Mirabella said in a statement.
