The Finance Ministry has launched Union Budget Mobile App on January 23, ensure hassle-free access to Budget documents by the Member Of Parliaments and the general public alike after they are presented in the Lok Sabha today.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the guidance of the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) developed the mobile app. The app facilitates complete access to budget documents, including Finance Bill, Demand for Grants, and the Annual Financial Statement.

NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she is set to present Union Budget 2021-22 in Parliament on Monday, at a time when India is recovering from the COVID-19 crisis. The Budget presentation will begin with a speech from Finance Minister scheduled to take place at around 11 am.

New Delhi [India], February 1 (ANI): For her third budget presentation, Union Finance MinisterNirmala Sitharaman kept her look simple, donning a crisp red-coloured saree with off-white detailing and gold border.
She completed her look with a gold chain and bangles and tiny earrings. Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, replacing her signature bahi khata , she opted to carry the documents in a tablet, which was wrapped in a red-coloured cover with national emblem emblazoned on it.
The red colour, which is considered auspicious, represents the strongest emotions including love, energy, attention, and power.
