Tim McDonald appointed as new president of Lanier Technical College

Tim McDonald appointed as new president of Lanier Technical College Lanier Technical College recently appointed Tim McDonald as the school’s new president, according to a recent release by the school.  Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Greg Dozier appointed McDonald to his new role and the state board approved the appointment on Thursday, April 1.  McDonald, who served as the executive vice president of the school since 2015, began his new role on April 1, 2021.  “Mr. McDonald is a proven postsecondary leader within the Technical College System of Georgia with the experience and skills necessary to lead Lanier Technical College,” Dozier said in the release. “He is committed to expanding opportunity to more Georgians through higher education and to continue developing a skilled workforce for our business and industry partners.”
