Registration for Indian Army s Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 46th course will begin in July-August. The course will commence in January 2022. Qualifying JEE Main, the engineering entrance exam, is compulsory for the course. As of now, the April and May session of JEE Main has been put on hold in view of the COVID-19 situation. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Indian Army to recruit candidates for Technical Entry Scheme Course commencing from July 2021. Candidates can apply for posts through the official site of the Indian Army on
joinindianarmy.nic.in. This recruitment will fill up 90 posts in the organization. The last date to apply for the post is till March 2, 2021.
The application will be screened at Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army) and candidates thereafter will be detailed for SSB. Read below for eligibility, selection process, and other details.
Army TES 46th Course: JEE Main compulsory for admission
New Delhi:
For admission through its Technical Entry Scheme (TES), the Indian Army has made JEE Main qualification compulsory. However, the JEE Main criteria will be applicable from TES 46th course. As of now, the TES 44th course is underway and the application process of TES 45th course will begin on February 1, 2021.
The TES 45th course will begin on July 2021.
The TES 46th course will begin on January 2022. The application process for this course will begin on July-August 2021.
Regarding the TES 46th course, the Indian Army has said in the notification that JEE Main has been made obligatory for TES 46th course. This is in addition to the criteria of minimum marks in PCM in class 12th.
