BT has chosen Hull as the first place to begin removing Huawei 4G and 5G infrastructure following a government ban on buying new equipment.
The telecommunications company has begun removing infrastructure made by the Chinese company in Hull, with equipment atop Muswell Court the first to go.
BT s Chief Technology Officer Howard Watson told
Bloomberg the company decided to begin the removal in one city first to make sure it does not impact on coverage.
