The first six months of an Indigenous-led outreach support team, Saweyihtotan, recorded 477 interactions, leading individuals to safe housing and providing meals for vulnerable people.

LISBON –Taylor Deland, is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s January Student of the Month. The daughter of Tina and Jack Best, and Wade Deland, she is a full-day CCCTC senior from Lisbon David Anderson High School and is enrolled in the Landscape and Environmental Design (LED) Program under the instruction of John Garwood.
Taylor serves as the secretary for the CCCTC Chapter of National Technical Honor Society, secretary of the Junior Fair Board, treasurer and secretary of the Rough Riders 4-H Club, reporter for the CCCTC FFA Chapter, and is a member of the Lisbon softball team.
There are 321 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, the province reported Sunday. Saskatchewan also reported 59 new cases of COVID-19 variants of concern.
SASKATOON Saskatoon’s drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Prairieland Park will operate on adusted hours Monday. The SHA did not provide an explanation for the adjusted hours. Wait times and hours of operation are updated on the SHA s website. On Sunday, the drive-thru clinic was open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. It is currently open to residents 55 years of age and older on a first come, first serve basis. Those seeking to head through the drive-thru clinic are directed to enter Prairieland Park from St. Henry Avenue.
