Laurentian cuts felt across Canada From opposite ends of the country, we watched the recently announced program closures and layoffs at Laurentian University with deep dismay. Our immediate thoughts are with the Laurentian students, faculty and staff directly affected by this restructuring under the inappropriate use of the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act combined with government inaction and senior administrative failures.
