The Levitt AMP Springfield Music Series, a 10-week series of free and live entertainment, is coming back to Springfield for a second season June 3 through Aug. 5. The concerts showcase a diversity of musical talent from across the country, performing at 6 p.m. each Thursday, on the vacant block north of the Illinois Governor’s Mansion.
The first season in 2019 attracted more than 7,700 attendees. COVID-19 postponed the second season which was originally scheduled for summer 2020.
Singer Soultru kicks off the series. Go to https://www.heritagefoundationspi.org/levitt-amp-springfield-schedule for a complete list of performers.
PNC Bank is the series sponsor.
