We have helped win at the district court level against the Biden Administration. We took legal action after the Biden Administration used the sixth COVID-19 stimulus bill to take away states’ ability to cut or ban taxes. Basically, President Biden and the Left enacted legislation declaring that if states took federal relief money – which of course they would to help their own constituents – then they were not able to lower taxes for four years.
ACLJ Chief Counsel and my dad Jay Sekulow summed up the power grab attempt by the Biden Administration:
What is so important about this is that the idea was to get economic relief into the states so that the states can get economic relief to the people. That is because we believe in federalism that the federal government doesn’t control wha

Quliptens Montgomery, 45, was killed late the night of June 25 near downtown Ocala.
According to Ocala police, he was struck by a newer model Toyota while walking in the northbound lane in the 1000 block of South Pine Avenue. His body, under the vehicle, was dragged for blocks until it came free in front of the downtown post office.
The driver left that scene and crashed at Southeast Broadway Street and Southwest Tuscawilla Avenue. The driver fled, and has not been found. How could you be so cruel? Montgomery s daughter asked during an interview with the Star-Banner.
Authorities said the car, a 2021 Toyota Avalon, is in their possession. They are processing it for DNA and fingerprints.
