There will also be a limited number of walk-up appointments available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The total number of confirmed cases is listed at 48,678, with 47,828 people recovered and 126 active cases, according to data provided by the City of Lubbock Health Department. Since last March, 724 deaths have been linked to COVID-19, with Thursday marking the first COVID-linked death of someone in Lubbock County since March 22. The percentage of COVID-19 confirmed patients in regional hospitals as a percentage of available hospital beds was 2.63 percent as reported Thursday - up from 2.53 % reported on Wednesday. Trauma Service Area B, which includes Lubbock County, will be under lessened restrictions outlined under Governor Abbott’s Executive Orders unless the area goes above 15% for seven consecutive days.
