The Edmonton Oilers kicked off their 2020-21 NHL season Wednesday night and with it, another round of 50/50 frenzy in the city.
While the local club dropped their home opener to the Vancouver Canucks in a 5-3 contest, the accompanying Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 50/50 draw thrived once again, accumulating a total pot surpassing $1.1 million.
