Gorsuch Municipal Building Saturday evening to advocate for racial equality and justice. Waynesboro Andrea Jackson s phone screen was filled with pictures and videos of George Floyd on May 25, 2020. Every time she scrolled through her social media, she saw Derek Chauvin s knee on Floyd s neck. Tuesday will mark exactly one year since the murder of Floyd. Jackson, who attended multiple Black Lives Matter marches in 2020, knew she needed to commemorate the first year of his death.
