Gurugram, May 6 : To streamline the liquid medical oxygen distribution and curb black marketing, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) and the district administration have started the token system for Covid patients.
Under this initiative, three dedicated counters have been set up at the MCG s offices located in Sector 34, Sector 42 and old Municipal corporation office, near the Civil Hospital, Gurugram. Tokens will be given for Liquid Medical Oxygen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these counters. A total of 30 tokens will be released every day from each counter, 90 tokens will be issued daily from all three dedicated counters. The validity of a token will be 2 days and after receiving the token, the attendant can receive liquid medical oxygen from the Star Gas, located at plot number 324, Sector 7, Manesar, MCG

Gurugram, May 6 : The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) on Thursday set up a call centre at its Sector-34 office for public representatives and citizens in view of the increasing Covid cases in the district.
MCG officials said that the call centre will work 24x7 with dedicated staff to address all Covid related complaints.
After receiving a complaint, the staff will immediately forward it to the concerned authorities and will also get feedback from the complainants about the action taken on their grievances. Complaints related to Covid-19 will be received on the helpline numbers 9821395170 and 9821395171. The public representatives of the district will be able to lodge complaints related to Covid from their concern areas on these numbers. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) on Thursday introduced token system to streamline the supply of liquid oxygen for COVID-19 patients in home isolation. A total of 90 tokens will be distributed per day at three different counters.
The MCG has set up three counters at Sector 34, Sector 42 and the office of the municipal body near Sadar Bazar. Thirty tokens each will be distributed at these centres from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The token will be valid for two days and the beneficiaries can procure the liquid oxygen from Star Gases plant in Sector-7, Manesar. Those seeking token must carry the patient’s RT-PCR report, Aadhaar card, address proof and the doctor’s report.
