Gurugram, April 6 : An urban forest is to be developed in the Aravali area of Sikanderpur and Chakarpur in the city, said the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA)officials.
The project, proposed on 100 hectares (250 acres) of forest land, is to be fenced off for which the GMDA has started preparations.
The authority officials said the work of developing the urban forest will be done by an NGO or organization.

Gurugram, April 6 : In first of its kind initiative, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) will phase out diesel autos running in the city and ply e-rickshaws in their place as a measure to make the city pollution-free, MCG officials said on Tuesday.
Additional Commissioner of MCG zone-4 Jaspreet Kaur said that a special meeting will be organised on Wednesday, as part of this unique initiative. This meeting will also be attended by the traffic officials and officers of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Gurugram.
