The Mosque Affairs Department through its Muslimah Affairs Division in collaboration with the Kampong Sinaut Mosque
Takmir Committee members, conducted a one-day agriculture course on Tuesday for 90 Muslimah of the mosque’s
Takmir committee.
The course aimed at providing knowledge on farming and gardening as well as maintaining the surroundings of mosque. It also aimed to foster closer ties among Muslimah committee members.
Participants were briefed on effective farming methods and generating income by Acting Senior Special Duties Officer of Department of Agriculture and Agrifood at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Hirman bin Haji Abu.

A ceremony to distribute miniature table flags ceremony and the glorification of the national flag programme for primary and secondary schools, colleges, Arabic and religious schools were held across the country yesterday, in efforts to instil patriotism among students.
The ceremony was aimed at enlivening the upcoming 37
th National Day celebration.
In the Brunei-Muara District, the ceremony was held at Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Serusop. Acting Director of Islamic Studies at the Department of Islamic Studies of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar was the guest of honour.
