Victorian government to announce support package for businesses28/05/2021|2min
The Victorian government will be providing financial support to businesses in light of the statewide lockdown, Acting Victorian Premier James Merlino says.
He said there will be a package for businesses announced within the coming days.
“Treasurer Tim Pallas is engaging with Josh Frydenberg at a federal level, so there is engagement between the state and federal government in terms of what support the federal government might provide,” he said.
Mr Merlino said he understands the absence of JobKeeper is “quite tough” on businesses, families and the broader community.
