Andover and Test Valley weekly Covid Roundup - April 2-9

The latest Covid-19 test results show cases across Andover and northern Test Valley continue to decline, with only four areas having a significant number of cases. Nine areas, including urban and rural areas, had the lowest number of cases, with rates recorded as suppressed. When cases are less than three, the exact number is not published to protect the identities of those with the virus. In the week leading up to April 9, Test Valley recorded 40 cases, an increase of two from the week before, with a rolling rate of 31.7 cases per 100,000 people – higher than the English average. Test Valley is also broken into smaller geographic areas, known as MSOAs, or Middle Layer Super Output Areas, which are smaller, postcode-linked areas that are used for a range of government statistics.
