On connection with allottees, Hooda tells ED whole Haryana knows me : The Tribune India

13744 Bhartesh Singh Thakur Chandigarh, February 20 On the Enforcement Directorate (ED) claiming that most of the allottees in industrial plot allotment case are known to him and he favoured them, former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, in his statement to the investigating agency, recorded that “whole Haryana knows me”. “I belong to one of oldest political families of Haryana and knew so many people, of which some happened to figure in the final list of the allottees. It does not mean favouritism was done in the interview,” he added in his statement to the ED. Hooda had recorded his statement on July 25-July 26, 2019, and is a part of the ED’s prosecution complaint (PC) before the Special Court for the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

ED special court summons Hooda and 21 others in industrial plot allotment case

Bhartesh Singh Thakur Chandigarh, February 18 The Special Court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), Haryana, on Thursday summoned former chief minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and 21 others in the Enforcement Directorate (ED)’s industrial plot-allotment case, which included three IAS officers and allottees. Earlier, the ED had filed a prosecution complaint (PC) against the accused before the special court in Panchkula under various sections of the PMLA. Besides Hooda, who was the chairman of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) when the allotments were made, the other accused include former HUDA chief administrator Dharam Pal Singh Nagal, former HUDA administrator Surjit Singh, former Faridabad zonal HUDA administrator Narinder Kumar Solanki, former HUDA chief controller of finance Subhash Chandra Kansal and former HUDA superintendent Bharat Bhushan Taneja.

Image Source: IANS News Chandigarh, Feb 16 : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet in a special court in Panchkula in connection with the multi-crore industrial plot allotment scam in which former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, his relatives and others have been named, an official said on Tuesday. In 2016, the CBI had filed a case against Hooda and others in connection with the allotment of 14 industrial plots during the Congress rule in the state.

Bhartesh Singh Thakur   Chandigarh, February 16   The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) against former CM and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and 20 others, in an alleged fraudulent industrial plot allotment, under the various sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, before a special PMLA court in Panchkula.   The PC is filed under Sections 3 (money laundering), 4 (punishment for money laundering), 44 (offences triable by special courts), 45 (offences to be congnizable and non-bailable) and 70 (offences by companies) of the PMLA.   Former Chief Administrator Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) DPS Nagal, former administrator HUDA Surjit Singh, former HUDA Chief Finance Controller SC Kansal, former HUDA Deputy Superintendent BB Taneja and firms M/s YPT Entertainment House Pvt Ltd and M/s Chandigarh Softech Pvt Ltd are named as accused.
