ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that through future green financing, Pakistan is proud to take a lead in conservation of ecological systems and ensure a secure and liveable.
The prime minister was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a low-cost housing project in Raiwind, where he also virtually inaugurated the same project at nine other locations in Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Chunian, Khanewal, Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Jalalpur Pir Wala and Sargodha.

PM Khan said the successive governments had completely ignored the common man as the elite separated their educational institutions and health facilities and left the public sector educational institutions and health facilities to rot. He regretted that law of the land was not strong enough to lay its hands on the influential people who were looting public resources and building palaces in Dubai and London.

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said changing the system is a hard task, and it takes time to accomplish that task in the face of status quo forces resisting all such efforts. However, he assured that the country was heading in the right direction.
Addressing the foundation-laying ceremony of the LDA City Naya Pakistan Housing Project here, he said the country was faced with a defining moment, though the âpolitical mafiasâ were trying to maintain the status quo. He called upon the country to transform itself if it was to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. He said the status quo did not want Pakistan to change for the better. He said that over the years, the country adopted a system where illegal gratification to get something accomplished had become a norm.

Under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme, Prime Minister performed the groundbreaking of Farash Town Apartments in Islamabad.
While addressing the event the premier said that Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) is making progress and FWO will finish the Farash Town project in 2 years.
Imran Khan said that efforts to provide loans to the deserving is bearing fruit and many more schemes and projects will be started in future.
The Prime Minister said a plan has also been prepared to convert the slums and equip them with the modern facilities including that of sanitation and sewerage. He said the slum dwellers will be given houses on proprietary rights.
