Taipei, June 12 (CNA) Taiwan is expanding the rollout of its Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to cover everyone listed at the top of the vaccination priority list, including non-medical personnel at government quarantine centers, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said Saturday.
Taipei, June 9 (CNA) Taiwan will soon start administering the 1.24 million shots of AstraZeneca vaccine it received last week from Japan, and seniors 75 years old and over will be included in the categories of eligible people, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said Wednesday.

Taipei, June 9 (CNA) Premier Su Tseng-chang (蘇貞昌) and Health and Welfare Minister Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) apologized Tuesday for the rising COVID-19 death toll in Taiwan, in response to questioning from an opposition party legislator.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths in Taiwan rose to 308 on Tuesday, Kuomintang (KMT) Legislator Tseng Ming-chung (曾銘宗) said at a legislative hearing, as he was questioning Su and Chen.

Seoul, June 9 (CNA) South Korea said Wednesday it will seek to accelerate talks on quarantine-free travel bubble agreements with several countries, including Taiwan, to enable group trips for people who are fully vaccinated from as early as July.
The country is seeking travel bubble agreements with Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Guam and Saipan and will start official talks soon with these countries and territories, the South Korean government said in a statement.
Taipei, June 6 (CNA) Taiwan on Sunday reported 343 cases of COVID-19, all of which were domestically transmitted, and 36 deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
