A DEDICATED team has played a vital role at the heart of their community for 23 years. Catherine Bell and her team at Cockermouth Paper Shop have been a lifeline to their town during two devastating floods and now a global pandemic. The newsagent has kept the same hours during the pandemic, operating deliveries for anyone who can’t make it into the shop due to self isolation. “We’re delivering over 1000 now some are just a TV magazine or a Times & Star we’re not reducing our times, we’re keeping our hours as they are. They have continued to serve during the pandemic although the second lockdown was particularly difficult.
