Zackaria Muhyidin Ahmed, 19, was facing 11 charges, mostly misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor charges, spread across five cases in Olmsted County District Court. Ahmed pleaded guilty Friday to gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of gross misdemeanor harassment. A charge of misdemeanor indecent exposure and two counts of gross misdemeanor of harassment were dismissed Friday. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 17 by Judge Joseph Chase.

Zackaria Ahmed was arrested on suspicion of 16 charges including felony stalking, felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and seven misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure. Ahmed was arrested about 6:15 p.m. Thursday at his place of employment and taken to the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.

The food shelf will be starting an hour early, at 4 p.m., on Dec. 17 at the Mower County Fairgrounds. The 4 p.m. start time allows for more daylight during distribution, making the process safer. There will also be a double line of vehicles for the distribution drive-by in order to make the distribution run faster.
