Sarah Page has taken on a lot of other responsibilities since the pandemic started just over a year ago.
But the Chief of Norfolk Paramedic Services is not alone and while the past year has been stressful, Page looks back on it with pride.

As Haldimand-Norfolk prepares to ramp up to more than 5,000 vaccinations a week, experts warn they are seeing cases of COVID-19 in younger people and an increase in variants of concern.
“That’s concerning,” said Sarah Page, chief of Norfolk Paramedic Services, who is leading the vaccination program.

There are currently more than 100 active cases in the two counties and, while testing is still lagging in identifying the specific variants of concern, the majority of those that have been nailed down have been the United Kingdom mutation.
