I thought I d make an effort this year especially so I wanted to get her flowers and I was then running around like a twit on the Sunday trying to find flowers in the supermarkets which was not fun at all and I didn t have a lot of joy. I m worried people will still be ordering and not getting their flowers if they haven t been able to get any and don t see the reviews.
A Norfolk Trading Standards spokesperson said: We have received a small number of complaints of late deliveries regarding Mother s Day flowers. Anyone experiencing issues with deliveries should contact Citizens Advice who can pass on any relevant complaints to Trading Standards, who will take action where necessary.

A warning has been issued over scam automated phone calls about National Insurance numbers.
Officers at Norfolk County Council s Trading Standards department said recent reports include that people s National Insurance numbers have been breached in security risks, used in criminal activities, used fraudulently, been compromised or is about to be cancelled.

The caller states there is an Aviva credit card payment pending for £900 and in order to cancel the payment people need to press 1 .
But Trading Standards officers said: These messages are spammed out randomly to huge numbers of mobile numbers hoping to trick people into sharing personal details. The messages will often claim that accounts have been frozen, that money is about to leave the account or that there is fraudulent activity with the aim of panicking the recipient into reacting.
