Rachel Cruz was arraigned Friday night before District Judge Richard Yetter III on charges of forgery, theft by deception, identity theft and access device fraud, records show. She was housed in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail, records show. Cruz went into the Wells Fargo Bank at 2750 Shoenersville Road and, using a withdrawal slip with details in someone else’s name, tried to take out $55,000, police said. She then returned to the bank and requested a cashier’s check for $100,000 made out to cash, police said.
