James Jacob Derr, of the 5400 block of Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township, was arraigned at 5:30 p.m. Friday before District Judge Robert Weber on two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, two counts of corruption of minors, two counts of promoting prostitution of a minor and a single count of criminal use of a cellphone, court records show. The charges are all felonies. Bail was set at $250,000 and Derr remained behind bars on Monday, records show.

Armed Easton man bites city cop after running from domestic dispute, court papers say Updated Apr 12, 2021; An armed 26-year-old Easton man, who records show was on probation and had warrants out for his arrest, ran from a domestic dispute early Sunday morning in the West Ward and, when chased down, bit a city police officer on the ring finger, court papers say. Abdullah Ali Aziz Duncan, of the 100 block of West Lincoln Street on the South Side, was in a home just before 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Butler Street and arguing with a woman, police said. He was saying something about “selling weed” when an officer knocked on the door, police said. A woman stuck her head out the window and an officer asked her to come down stairs and talk, police said. As she did, a child appeared at the window and said, ”Take Ab to jail,” court records say.
