Northrop Grumman Must Face Manager s Sex Harassment Suit
Law360 (July 28, 2021, 10:17 PM EDT) A Kansas federal judge on Tuesday said defense contractor Northrop Grumman must face a former manager s lawsuit alleging four male co-workers, including her supervisor, created a hostile work environment that resulted in her sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, finding that the woman had sufficiently alleged her firing was pretextual.
U.S. District Judge Kathryn H. Vratil found that former Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. manager Jennifer McQueen who claims she was fired after reporting multiple incidents of sexual harassment to human resources had established a genuine issue of material fact as to her claims of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation..
By Stephen Nakrosis The Pentagon on Friday said Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. was awarded a $959,104,178 firm-fixed-price contract for production of common infrared countermeasures. The Pentagon said bids were solicited via the internet and one bid was received. The work locations and funding will be determined with each order, the Pentagon said, adding the estimated completion for the work is April 29, 2026. Northrop Grumman said its common infrared countermeasures system provides protection against a wide range of infrared-guided anti-aircraft missile threats, including shoulder-fired and vehicle-launched. The process may include providing a separate interest rate service offer to a client device and receiving a separate interest rate selection from the client device. The process may also include determining a selected portion of the account balance corresponding to an amount to which a second interest rate, different from the first interest rate, is to be applied based on the separate interest rate selection.

A device receives, from a cloud computing environment, cloud instance information associated with cloud instances in the cloud computing environment, and processes the cloud instance information, with a machine learning model, to determine containers for one or more of the cloud instances and whether cloud instances should be removed from the cloud computing environment. The device causes a first subset of the cloud instances to be removed from the cloud computing environment, based on determining which of the cloud instances should be removed, and causes the containers to be created for a second subset of the cloud instances based on determining the containers. The device receives, from the cloud computing environment, cloud container information associated with the containers created in the cloud computing environment, and causes one or more of the containers to be scaled based on the cloud container information.
