WASHINGTON (June 16, 2021) The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.
Contracts For June 8, 2021
Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a
$137,680,806 modification (P00112) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N0001915C0003). This modification adds scope to provide continued support services, including program management, non-recurring unique requirements, and training in support of increment five integration of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers into the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (60%); and an undisclosed locations outside the continental U.S. (40%), and is expected to be completed in July 2021. FMS funds in the amount of $137,680,806 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. T

Lockheed Martin Corp., Owego, New York, is awarded a
$447,230,778 firm-fixed-price order (N0001921F0841) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001921G0017). This order provides for the production and delivery of 12 MH-60R aircraft for the government of the Republic of Korea. Work will be performed in Owego, New York (52%); Stratford, Connecticut (40%); and Troy, Alabama (8%), and is expected to be completed in December 2024. By Stephen Nakrosis The Pentagon on Friday said Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. was awarded a $959,104,178 firm-fixed-price contract for production of common infrared countermeasures. The Pentagon said bids were solicited via the internet and one bid was received. The work locations and funding will be determined with each order, the Pentagon said, adding the estimated completion for the work is April 29, 2026. Northrop Grumman said its common infrared countermeasures system provides protection against a wide range of infrared-guided anti-aircraft missile threats, including shoulder-fired and vehicle-launched.
