From the virtual to the socially-distanced physical, here are three major concerts taking place this Africa Day which feature a host of musical talent.
It s the 58th anniversary of Africa Day! While the world has changed vastly over the past year, as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the celebrations continue. An annual honouring and spotlighting of African history, heritage and talent, this year s theme is Arts, Culture And Heritage: Levers for Building the Africa We Want. If you re looking for a few events to tune into today where you can just turn up, here are three major concerts which feature a plethora of African talent including
Farm to Car at Windward Mall
(As of 4/29) – This program allows the community to browse the Hawai‘i Farm Bureau’s online Farmers Market, pick out their fruits and vegetables and head to Windward Mall where a member of the Farm Bureau will bring it out to the car. Online order pick up are on Thursdays starting on April 30 from 12 to 3 p.m. in the Windward Mall parking lot near Haiku Road. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, Farm-to-Car workers will wear masks and minimize interaction with customers by having customers show their receipt number and then putting the boxes of produce into the trunk or backseat of the car.
