N Lacrosse Walmart in Rapid City to begin COVID vaccinations Thursday

KNBN NewsCenter1 March 1, 2021 RAPID CITY, S.D. Walmart announced on Monday that their store on North Lacrosse Street in Rapid City will begin offering COVID-19 vaccines on Thursday, March 4. The store is setting up a clinic at the front of the store to administer the Phizer-Biontech vaccine. Vaccines will be available to those who meet the current phase of vaccine eligibility of adults 65+, health care workers, emergency medical service workers, first responders, law enforcement, correctional officers. Insurance is not required, there is no cost to receive the vaccine, and appointments for the second vaccination will be made while at the first appointment. Walmart anticipates these events will take place over the next several weeks as allocation allows.
