COVID-19 in Tennessee: Nashville to phase out major vaccination site

Music City Center vaccination clinic to start phasing out this week Nashville will begin phasing out its Music City Center coronavirus vaccination site on Friday. The move comes as demand drops off for vaccinations, the Metro Public Health Department said. The site will offer the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine through May 7, then solely offer second doses of the Pfizer vaccine through May 28, officials said. This will assure that everyone who starts their vaccination process at Music City Center can complete it there. Up to 1,000 walk-in slots are open each day, along with reserved appointments. Those who wish to reserve an appointment at Music City Center can visit covid19.nashville.gov or call the city s COVID-19 hotline at 615-862-7777.
