Southbury Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Written by Town of Southbury Southbury will host the 2021 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 31. Our Parade will kick off 11 AM sharp starting at the Pomperaug Office Park, located across from CVS, Depot Hill Road.   The Parade will continue down Main Street South and end at the Veterans Memorial Park, which is located between the Town Hall and the Senior Center/Park and Recreation Office. Our Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at that time. Our 2021 keynote address speaker is Dan Ettinger, Commander, Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 1. We ask you to give him a warm welcome.

Rockland American Legion to hold solemn Memorial Day ceremony

Sunday, May 16, 2021 ROCKLAND Rockland American Legion Post 1 will be conducting a Memorial Day Ceremony in Rockland on Monday, May 31, 2021. The ceremony will be held in the park at the corner of Park and Main streets in the shadow of the giant flag pole of the Civil War monument.  Leading up to the 10 a.m. ceremony, Marlene Hall s Bay Winds North music ensemble will be playing appropriate musical selections commencing at 09:45.
