Memorial Hermann allowing more visitors

The Memorial Hermann Health System is allowing more visitors at many of its facilities, including Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital at 17500 W. Grand Pkwy. S., according to a May 24 news release. System-wide, the hospital said one adult visitor (at least 18 years old) is now allowed to visit those in contact isolation. However, there continues to be no visitors allowed for patients in droplet, airborne or a combination of isolation precautions, according to the hospital. Family members can also visit loved ones who are in hospice or supportive medicine care, the hospital said. Acute care facilities such as the Sugar Land hospital as well as TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital, Katy Rehab and PaRC are allowing two adult visitors and one adult overnight visitor per patient per day, while Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital is allowing two parent/guardian visitors per patient per day and two parent/guardian overnight visitors.
