FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - As the Munson Creek fire situation continues to unfold, the Fairbanks North Star Borough has issued an evacuation order - and the American Red Cross of Alaska is preparing to assist displaced community members. Kathie Harms, Public Information Officer for the Fairbanks North Star Borough explained, “Yesterday at about 3 o’clock we started getting some very gusty erratic winds that started pushing the fire a variety of directions, primarily right towards Chena Hot Springs Resort.
