  The bond between lifelong friends can be strong.  Boston Police Lt. Gary Eblan has been friends with Tina Santoro Asmar since they met in first grade according to WMUR.com.  When Asmar came down with COVID just a few days before she was scheduled for vaccination, she became very ill and was hospitalized.  Gary Eblan would have done anything to help and he has a unique talent that helped a great deal.     Tina Santoro Asmar has been hospitalized with COVID at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for nearly three weeks.  Her case has been a serious one, but it appears that she is taken a turn for the better and her condition is improving.  Boston police Lt. Gary Eblan has been serenading her with songs to lift her spirits.  He records the videos of himself singing in his car and sends them to Asmar.  The song choice varies from “We are the Champions” to “You Raise Me Up” as performed by Josh Groban according to WMUR.com.
