Bharati Sinha
BOSTON– Besides being actively engaged in clinical work, Dr. Bharati Sinha, MD has done research in development of neuroprotective treatments and identification of biomarkers in newborn brain injury. During her fellowship, she was awarded the prestigious Harvard William Randolf Hearst fund award for her work in neuroprotective strategies in newborn brain injury.
Dr. Sinha was also awarded the Natalie Zucker grant for women scholars by Tufts University. She is currently a neonatologist and the director of quality improvement at Boston Medical Center.
On March 6, Dr. Sinha will be honored as one of the 20 Outstanding Women of 2021 during the 18th Annual Woman of the Year Awards ceremony to be held virtually this year. To buy a ticket, please click here.

BOSTON- A woman who never takes NO as an answer in life, Aditi Soni works hard to empower the women in her community. As President of the United India Association of New England (UIANE) and a Board Member of Saheli Boston, Ms. Soni has been at the forefront of many important support initiatives run by both organizations, in a year where everyone’s lives were effected by the coronavirus pandemic.
From UIANE’s “COVID-19 Relief Fund” that delivered hundreds of meals and groceries to the elderly and the front-line workers, to its virtual ‘Participate and Learn’ series to keep their community physically and mentally strong, to working with the Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) and the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) to host a community awareness webinar for the COVID-19 vaccine, Ms. Soni has been instrumental to these initiatives.

Town of Wellesley
The town is reporting a slight uptick in COVID cases 70 new cases in the past 14 days. As of Feb 25, there were 545,624 positive cases in Massachusetts, and 1,043 in Wellesley. This is most likely the result of gatherings with individuals outside of COVID pods and public school February break activities and travel, according to the latest town briefing.
Health Department nurses continue to perform detailed contact tracing for all cases. The department warns that residents should remember to follow the recommended COVID-19 precautions – wear a mask, watch your distance from others, and wash your hands.
